BOOK NOW TERM 1 2012

ImpactAlpha is a subsiduary of the Christchurch School of Gymnastics operating on the west side of Christchurch, New Zealand,in Birmingham Drive, Middleton.

The objectives of our gymnastics programmes are

1. To offer a safe environment for the development of children's athletic abilities.
2. To provide positive and fun learning exeriences.
3. To develop an enjoyment of physical recreation that can be transferred to other sporting activities.

TERM 1 2012 BOOKINGS.

We are currently taking bookings for classes for term 1. Term 1 starts on the 30th January and finishes on 5th April. The one hour recreational classes are for a 9 week term. Some of our extension classes will be for 10 weeks.

Recreation gym.     Trampoline.

These classes are designed to teach confidence, coordination and general body awarenes, through the learning of a wide range of gymnastic skills on fun and exciting equipment. These skills are the foundation movement skills of all sports.

CHEERLEADING.

We are not offering Cheerleading in term 1 2012 but are asking for expression of interest to restart a team in term 2. Please email or phone 388 6616 to put your name on the waiting list.

WHY GYMNASTICS.

Gymnastics embraces all the fundamental movement skills of locomotion, (Running, hopping, jumping etc), stability (landing, balance, rotation etc) and manipulative (throwing, catching etc). See SPARC for further information on fundamental movement and its importance.

ImpactAlpha is fortunate to operate in an area which has not been affected by the recent events and so is fully operational. We have classes suitable for all ages and sporting ability.
